fuForma Urbis was born in 1998 mainly to transfer knowledge gained from the Venice Project Center on many aspects of urban land and the lagoon of Venice, public-sector entities responsible for their management, protection and maintenance is mainly involved in Information Design and Knowledge acquisiton in the fields of maintenance, management and planning.

Projects professional FU always starts from a solid methodological basis, developed and applied in the field through surveys prototype, often made, as mentioned above, students and volunteers under our supervision.

All projects are designed and prepared by Prof.. ing. Fabio Carrera which, lies mainly in the U.S., manages them through the most updated tools always used for the creation of databases, Information Systems (given), digital images and other media files that represent the "daily bread" FU also allowing the company to operate both in Italy and the United States through the Boston office of the newly established.

FU has already begun to operate on the territory of the Boston area with a first draft for the management of spatial Historical Monumental Cemetery of Mount Auburn and Botanical Gardens.

L’Arch. Cock, prepares and manages the projects from the study of Venice in constant contact with Prof. Carrera and maintain relationships with various actors of the Venice. It also engaged in the management and direction of numerous collaborators, graduates or undergraduates, who was hired on the basis of expertise best suited to projects commissioned, coordinating the various working groups and managing multimedia databases to the final quality control, conduct this personally by Prof. Carrera before delivery to the purchasing.

FU has managed to fine 70 more or less temporary collaborators since its creation and has completed numerous projects for Venice and for U.S. customers.

Forecasts for the years 2001-2003 is to reach a maximum of 20 Annual projects, to guarantee the usual quality of end products characteristic of our products.

Generally, the product was taking his cue from the operational needs of public bodies or NGOs that have jurisdiction over elements of the built or natural area.

- Surveys of state of affairs with their return to Computer;

- Surveys and statistical reports on Data Banks;

- Computerization of existing data from any medium;

- Management programs customized IT;

- Clinics;

- Feasibility studies and methodological;

- Urban design;

- Environmental studies;

- Creation of specific tools for measurement and automatic detection;

- Engineering studies;

- Studies of traffic flow;

- Acquisition numbers and returns vector cadastral map sheets (Specific second-Sogei WEGIS 2000).
